Presstek, Inc., a leading supplier of digital offset printing solutions to the printing and communications industries, announced that research firm InfoTrends has released an extensive white paper analyzing the market impact, benefits and competitive advantages of the Presstek 75DI digital offset press.

The Presstek 75DI is available in 4- to 10-color configurations and prints at 16,000 sheets per hour. An in-line aqueous coater and a full range of productivity enhancing options can be added to make the press even more productive. The 75DI features automated support for 300 lpi and FM screening and has a small environmental footprint. Print quality is further enhanced by utilizing waterless printing technology.
 
The 75DI has a maximum sheet size of 31.02" x 23.62" (788 mm x 600 mm), a minimum sheet size of 10.98" x 7.87" (279 mm x 200 mm), and can print on a broad array of stocks ranging from 0.0016" to 0.031" (0.04 mm to 0.8 mm) thick.

It also highlighted Virtuoso, an in-line color management and defect detection system that will be shown with a 5-color 75DI press with inline aqueous coater at drupa.
