Wise Media Corporation has announced the launch of a major international event for the zero impact technology industry, Sustainability Summit, to be held in Milan, Italy from November 3 to 5, 2009.

The Sustainability Summit, the annual congress on zero impact technologies, will focus on renewable energy, waste diversion and carbon neutrality, encompassing a three-day conference discussing the environment, economics and social shaping and a two-day exhibition.

At the Sustainability Summit, environmental leaders, strategic analysts and professional technologists will develop a debate that will draw out future scenarios for the whole high-tech sector to maximize the opportunities of emerging and disruptive technologies. These include photovoltaic production and energy grids deployment, high-efficiency generators and low consumption motors, intelligent transportation systems, smart sensors, near zero power electronics and wireless power distribution. In addition, other emerging areas of activity such as green building design, construction and maintenance as well as waste management will be covered.
